SCORING: Performances can score up to 150 points (50 from each judge), and will be rated as follows:

MEGA MAX: 148-150

THE MAX: 146-147.99

MEGA XTREME: 143-145.99

XTREME: 139-142.99

MEGA ELITE: 136-138.99

ELITE: 132-135.99

MEGA SUPREME: 129-131.99

SUPREME: 125-128.99

MEGA SUPERIOR: 122-124.99

SUPERIOR: 121.99 & under

Awards
"TOP AWARDS" will be given in each age, level and entry division, including all Bonus Categories. NOTE: Participants may enter as often as they wish. However, identical solos, duet/trio, groups/lines, etc may not place more than once per level / entry division.

"OVERALL AWARDS" will be given in each age division within the levels and specialized categories, excluding Bonus Categories. CASH AWARDS will also be presented to first place overall winners.  NOTE: Participants may enter as often as they wish. However, identical solos, duet/trio, groups/lines, etc. may not place more than once per level.

"SCORING SENSATION" trophies will be presented in each age division for the highest scoring amateur routine, excluding bonus categories. NOTE: There must be a minimum of 20 acts within an age division for "Scoring Sensation" to be presented.

MARVONNA STUDIO AWARDS
"Super Sport" award will be presented to the studio that displays outstanding sportsmanship and decorum.

“PEP, VIM & VERVE” award will be given to the studio that sends the most students.

MARVONNA AMETHYST TEARCHER AWARDS
“EXCEPTIONAL CHOREOGRAPHY” award will be presented at the end of each day. All dances are eligible except for those in the Bonus Categories.

FINALS AWARDS

"TOP" awards will be given in each age, level, and entry division, including all bonus categories. NOTE: Identical solo, duet/trio, groups & lines may not place more than once per division and/or level for Top awards.

"OVERALL" awards will be given in each age division within the levels and specialized categories, excluding bonus categories. CASH AWARDS will also be presented to first, second and third place overall winners. NOTE: Identical solo, duet/trio, groups & lines may not place more than once per level for overall awards. There must be a three act minimum for awards to be presented. 

"SCORING SENSATION" trophies will be presented in each age division for the highest scoring amateur routine, excluding bonus categories. NOTE:  There must be a minimum of 20 acts within an age division for ³Scoring Sensation² to be presented.

"SUPER SPORT" award will be presented to the studio that displays outstanding sportsmanship and decorum.

"PEP, VIM & VERVE" award will be given to the studio that sends the most students.

"EXCEPTIONAL CHOREOGRAPHY" awards will be presented to the teacher/choregrapher for each discipline of dance. NOTE: A three act minimum is required in each discipline for choreography award to be presented. All dances are eligible except for those in the bonus categories.

 

EIGHTH ANNUAL "YOU GOT IT! SCHOLARSHIP"

We have all seen "IT", you know "IT" when you see "IT", but can anyone really describe "IT" ­ that certain something that sets someone apart from the group. Throughout each day at Finals, candidates will be selected from all age and entry categories for the opportunity to receive scholarships to be paid to their studio and applied to their tuition. Candidates will be selected when the judging panel agrees that they have seen "IT" displayed by a participant whether that participant sparkles as a soloist or shines in a group. One scholarship will be awarded to an individual 12 & under participating in the Junior or Mini division and an individual 13-19 participating in the Senior division. Each candidate must be available before their corresponding award ceremony for a brief private interview.
Note: The prior year¹s scholarship recipients are not eligible.
